Hi!
If you are reading this and you are an Erasmus law student coming to study at our beautiful Catholic University of Leuven (in Dutch referred to as ‘de KULeuven’), you have come to the right place!
Let us shortly explain what the organization of this website is all about, and more importantly: who we are within this organization! This website is of the ‘VRG’ and we are ‘VRG Erasmus’!!
What is ‘VRG’?
VRG stands for 'Vlaams RechtsGenootschap' (which is Dutch for ‘Flemish law society’). We are a student organization run by law students who organize events for law students at the KULeuven.
What is ‘VRG erasmus’?
‘VRG erasmus’ is the team within VRG that organizes events for the law Erasmus students at the KULeuven. However, all students are of course welcome to our events: Belgian and Erasmus students of whatever study.
We are planning to organize various events, such as: city tours through Leuven in the first week, an Erasmus weekend (from 30/09 – 2/10!), a visit to the Stella Artois factory, cocktail parties, an international cantus and much more. We will keep you informed of our events through e-mails and updates on our Facebook group. Many of you have already joined us on Facebook, but for those who still haven’t, you can find us on http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=177043509033710&ref=ts#!/groups/249727965041441/. Our group is called “Erasmus law Kuleuven 2011-2012 (vrg)”
How can you reach us/ contact us?
VRG has an office at ‘Tiensestraat 53, 3000 Leuven’, which is located above a pub called ‘HdR’. ‘HdR’ stand for ‘Huis der Rechten’ – Dutch for ‘House of law’- and is a pub linked to the VRG and the law faculty. The VRG and HdR are located close to the law campus, which is called ‘de Valk’ – Dutch for the falcon-, located at ‘Tiensestraat 41’.
You can contact the office of ‘VRG’ at tel. 00 32 16 32 55 80 or through info@vrg.be. To contact ‘VRG Erasmus’, please send an e-mail to Erasmus@vrg.be or send a message to our above-mentioned FB-group.
Hoping to welcome you all soon!
